Summary
Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is a provider of facility services across North America. The IT Product Manager drives the success of software products by gathering business requirements, managing user expectations, guiding development teams, and delivering product features. The role also manages roadmaps, backlogs, releases, stakeholder communication, product health, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, and maintain product roadmap
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and facilitate regular communication to understand user needs to ensure features and products are aligned with business objectives
- Understand complex business processes in order to gather feature requirements from users of many different backgrounds
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements
- Turn product features into epics and story backlogs, breaking feature requirements down into user-centric work items
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize product initiatives based on business value and feasibility
- Plan, prioritize and manage delivery of backlogs ensuring that team has an adequate number of prepared tasks to work on every Sprint; review process and work items with development team
- Manage ongoing priority and backlog in a quickly evolving environment
- Ensure quality level of delivery by actively participating in release process
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Coordinate releases with development team and relevant stakeholders, including marketing and customer communication
- Report on progress to stakeholders and IT management
- Communicate changes to users and educate training team and helpdesk
- Oversee product health; define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and identify areas for improvement
- Serve as an escalation point for issues and concerns about the product
- Serve as liaison between the business and development team for integrations and M&As

- Extended periods of work seated at a desk; repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to speak clearly (use of voice)
