Job description
Summary
Veolia Group is a global leader in environmental services, specializing in water, energy, and waste management. The Production Intern will support day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, gaining hands-on experience in production processes and team coordination while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Support Production Operations – Assist the production team in preparing ion exchange products for dispatch to fulfill customer orders, working alongside a team of 15+ employees
- Daily Schedule Support – Help monitor and support daily production schedule attainment to meet internal and external customer commitments while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Production Planning Assistance – Observe, assist, and participate in the coordination and execution of daily production plans under the guidance of the Production Supervisor
- Maintenance Coordination Support – Shadow and assist in scheduling and tracking repairs of mechanical, pneumatic, and other instrumentation located within the plant
- Process Improvement Participation – Help identify and report bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process, contributing ideas to improve cycle times, quality, and safety
Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or production concepts (coursework or prior exposure preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures accurately
