<p>As a Hardware Engineer at Verkada, you’ll contribute to the design and development of new cameras, access control systems, sensors, and other enterprise IoT products.&nbsp; Verkada’s Hardware engineers own all aspects of the electrical design from prototype through to mass production. This is a full-time, in-person role based in our San Mateo, CA office.</p>
<h3>What You'll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Design, prototype, and build new hardware products in collaboration with the product and mechanical engineering team.</li>
<li>Help sustain our existing product lines to ensure high quality and steady supply for our customers.</li>
<li>Engage cross-functionally across mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.</li>
<li>Quickly prototype new products for proof of concept study.</li>
<li>Work with JDM partners to build and execute robust test plans and complete full programs.</li>

<h3>What You Bring</h3>

<li>BS in Electrical Engineering</li>
<li><strong>2025 Graduation Date&nbsp;</strong></li>
<li>Some experience with board level circuit design and prototyping.</li>
<li>Ability to travel up to 15%.</li>
<li>Good verbal and written communication skills, able to work independently and cross functionally.</li>

<p>At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)</p>
