Summary
Walter P Moore is an international company of engineers, architects, innovators, and creative people who solve some of the world’s most complex structural and infrastructure challenges. As an engineering intern in our structural engineering group, you will participate on project teams for various architectural projects and have the opportunity to engage in staff development.
Responsibilities
- Participate on project teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings
- Eligible to participate in our in-house staff development program
Skills
- BS - Engineering, architecture or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering/architectural coursework towards BS in Engineering
- Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill required
- Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week
- A sound technical background
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great structures
- EIT preferred
