Summary
Washington University in St. Louis is an institution whose Office of Information Security works with university stakeholders to improve information security. The Security Awareness, Behavior, & Culture Analyst II leads change management and communication strategies, develops training and communications, manages information security awareness initiatives, and supports the ABC team’s project portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to analyze program data and monitor the effectiveness of ABC programs
- Conduct research and write content for the SECURED newsletter, guidance pages, and other written communications, translating complex and technical information into easily understandable terms
- Lead the end-to-end production of custom microlearning materials and phishing simulations, fostering secure behaviors
- Engage with university leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Help develop training curriculum and phish testing strategy using visual design and editing software such as Vyond, Articulate, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Configure and maintain content in Learning Management System (LMS) platforms like KnowBe4, Workday Learning, and Canvas
- Provide customer support, quickly assessing and addressing customer needs
- Other duties as assigned
- Lead teams and manage initiatives
- Plan and manage events for Cybersecurity Awareness Month
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
- Relevant Experience (4 Years)
- Analytical Problem Solving, Detail-Oriented, Effective Written Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Oral Communications
- SANS Security Awareness Professional Certification or equivalent
- Ability to draw on existing resources to solve novel problems
- Excellent research and writing skills; able to translate complex technical information into understandable terms
