Job description

Summary

Wellington Management is a global investment management firm that provides tailored investment solutions for institutional clients. They are seeking a Core Quality Engineer to join their Trading Platform Engineering team, focusing on ensuring high-quality software delivery through testing and automation in an asset management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain testing artifacts including test strategies, plans, and cases
  • Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Collaborate with development and business teams
  • Track and manage defects
  • Perform backend and database testing
  • Align with QE standards and best practices

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality engineering or related roles
  • Understanding of order management systems and trade lifecycle processes
  • Experience with Selenium, Karate, UFT, or REST Assured
  • SQL and database testing knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience with Agile software development practices
  • Working knowledge of Order Management systems
  • Familiarity CI/CD tools
  • AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar)

Qualifications

Must Haves
