Full Stack Junior Developer

Summary

XYZ AI Inc. is a boutique AI software company building products across research, product development, and practical AI applications. The company is seeking a Full Stack Junior Developer to build and improve web-based AI products across frontend, backend, and API layers while collaborating across multiple projects and using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive interfaces with TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS
• Develop backend services and integrate REST APIs
• Build, test, debug, and maintain production features
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product stakeholders
• Move between projects as priorities evolve
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards
• Use AI coding tools heavily while reviewing, testing, and taking responsibility for generated code
• Document technical decisions and support deployment and performance improvements

Skills

• 3–5+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or higher
• Professional experience with TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS
• Web development and backend development experience
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs
• Experience using AI coding tools, or a strong willingness to make AI-assisted development a major part of your workflow
• Strong ownership, initiative, flexibility, and attention to code quality
• Ability to work across multiple products and submit reliable, maintainable code
• Eastern Time availability preferred
• Figma
• Prisma ORM

• Machine learning engineering
