Product Engineer

Summary

Yara is building a platform that improves how people find work through user profiles, smart matching, and human-reviewed connections. The Product Engineer role involves owning user-facing product surfaces end to end across UI, APIs, data, and deployment, with a focus on shipping full-stack, AI-native products.

Responsibilities

• You build the product, not a layer of it. UI, API, data, and the deploy are all yours
• You ship. Side projects, startup features, or production systems. Real people used what you built
• You're AI-native in how you build. Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex are already part of your workflow
• You'd rather be judged on a live product than on keyword-matching a resume
• You want a real human reviewing you. Every application here gets read by a person

Skills

• 3+ years building production web applications, or less with exceptional shipped work
• TypeScript and React, plus Node.js or Python on the backend
• Next.js or an equivalent full-stack framework you have actually deployed
• Databases, APIs, and cloud deploys you set up yourself
• A GitHub, portfolio, or live product link that shows your work
• An LLM-powered feature you shipped
