Job description

Summary

YipitData is a market research and analytics firm focused on the disruptive economy and alternative data. The Research Analyst will develop fundamental equity research for subscription-based data products, create insights from datasets, support new product development, build customer relationships, and help market products to investment clients.

Responsibilities

  • Data Driven Research: Create and communicate valuable insights from our datasets
  • New Product Development: Collaborate with our data team to help build new research products and features
  • Customer Relationships: Become a trusted resource for our subscribers, the largest investors in the world
  • Product Marketing: Work with our Sales, Client Strategy and Marketing teams to position our products on clients calls, webcasts, and in press references

Skills

  • You have 3+ years of experience in equity research or management consulting-styled writing
  • You have a background in equity research or business analysis and a passion for data-driven fundamental investing
  • You have a commitment to learning new technology skills
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field
  • This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC, one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US
  • Please note that for this position, we are not able to consider candidates who currently or in the future will require visa sponsorship
  • Experience covering the technology or software sectors is a plus

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • You have 3+ years of experience in equity research or management consulting-styled writing
