Job description

Summary

Zenlayer is seeking a highly motivated AI Infrastructure Procurement Specialist to help expand their AI infrastructure footprint across the United States. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and securing data center capacity while working closely with various internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate data center opportunities across the United States to support AI infrastructure expansion
  • Build and maintain relationships with colocation providers, real estate owners, developers, utility companies, and infrastructure partners
  • Support procurement and commercial negotiations for data center capacity, including pricing, contract terms, and service agreements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, deployment, finance, and operations teams to assess site feasibility
  • Assist with due diligence on power availability, facility readiness, connectivity, and operational requirements
  • Track market intelligence, including data center availability, power capacity, pricing trends, and regional supply dynamics
  • Travel extensively throughout the U.S. to visit sites, attend industry meetings, and develop partner relationships
  • Help establish scalable sourcing processes as the company continues to grow
