Summary
ZOVU is building a platform for restaurant operations that connects POS, reservations, loyalty, staff planning, and customer experiences. The QA Automation Intern will investigate product failures, perform exploratory testing, and build repeatable API, browser, and Flutter integration tests for critical restaurant workflows.
Responsibilities
- Test complete workflows such as ordering, checkout, refunds, stock changes, and kitchen updates
- Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, expected behavior, and supporting evidence
- Develop API and browser automation, and contribute to Flutter integration tests
- Test permissions, tenant isolation, retries, reconnects, and interrupted actions
- Create test data and repeatable regression checks
- Investigate flaky tests and distinguish product defects from test problems
- Help the team prioritize defects by customer impact
Skills
- Practical software testing experience from work, study, or personal projects
- Some programming ability in TypeScript/JavaScript, Dart, or another relevant language
- Understanding of APIs, assertions, test cases, and reproducible failures
- A careful, curious approach to investigating unexpected behavior
- Clear written communication
- Willingness to understand the product rather than test only individual screens
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Flutter testing, API tools, or CI is useful
- You do not need to know every tool before joining
