They are looking to fill a position for a Network Engineer in Lansing, MI, where the selected person will be responsible for installing VoIP technologies and supporting networks.

Responsibilities

• Install VoIP technologies and supporting networks
• Assesses existing configurations and makes recommendations based on product specs
• Configures equipment/software to meet business needs, trains others on solution, and documents solution

Skills

• Demonstrates knowledge, understanding, and technical use of converged (voice and data) networking technologies
• Demonstrates knowledge, understanding, and technical use of many and various desktop operating systems and software applications, internet/intranet
• Technical and/or working knowledge of some or all of the following: Cisco Hubs and Switches, Cisco Cube/VoIP Routers, Wireless 802.11
• Technical and/or working knowledge of some or all of the following: VoIP Telephony, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco IPCC, Cisco Unity, Cisco Emergency Responder
• Technical and/or working knowledge of some or all of the following: Microsoft Active Directory (DHCP), OnSSI Systems IP Video, Cisco Nexus Switches
• Govt. exp preferred
