Summary
Acadeum helps colleges and universities expand course access, support student progress, streamline administration, and create new revenue opportunities through its course-sharing platform. The Product Manager will lead planning and execution for solutions focused on transfer pathways, credit mobility, institutional data exchange, and student academic planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer and partner feedback into actionable problem statements
- Write high-quality PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with UX Designers on research, wireframes, and usability testing
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research
- Maintain and prioritize backlog aligned to roadmap
- Partner with Engineering on sprint planning and scope trade-offs
- Ensure releases meet defined success criteria
- Participate in QA validation and UAT
- Work with Partner Success and Support to identify recurring pain points
- Enable Marketing with positioning, messaging, and feature documentation
- Assist with launch planning and internal training
- Define success metrics for features
- Monitor product usage and adoption data
- Iterate based on performance insights
Skills
- 3+ years of Product Management experience, or equivalent experience through work, training, or education
- Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint planning
- Comfortable using AI tools and workflows
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data (qualitative and quantitative) to drive prioritization
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, actionable PRDs, tickets, bug reports, and user stories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
