Job description

Summary

Accenture Federal Services is dedicated to helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve citizen services. They are seeking a Jr. Systems Engineer to analyze user requirements, lead design and development activities, and provide technical leadership for systems engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements and lead design and development activities
  • Provide technical leadership and ensure the technical integrity of work and deliverables
  • Develop technical and system documentation
  • Plan system development and interact with government officials
  • Review and approve system engineering documentation
  • Conduct quantitative analysis and provide technical direction for complex hardware/software systems
  • Develop and integrate solutions for Big Data analytics and malware analysis

Skills

  • 0-2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field
  • Must have a TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and manage design and development activities
  • Proficient in developing technical documentation and system planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with government officials
  • Proven ability to review and approve system engineering documentation
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Scrum methodologies and Agile practices

Qualifications
