Summary

The Junior Developer role is focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, requiring foundational knowledge of programming languages and software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining software applications
  • Write, test, and debug code to ensure functionality and reliability
  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement solutions
  • Support the integration of applications with enterprise systems
  • Document development processes and configurations
  • Conduct basic performance testing and optimization
  • Stay updated on emerging programming tools and technologies
  • Provide user support and training for software applications
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 0–3 years of experience in software development
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAFe)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • GitHub Foundations Certification
  • PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming or similar
