Summary
ActioNet, Inc. is an IT Solutions Provider with strong qualifications in Agile Software Engineering and Cyber Security. They are seeking a Mid Level Developer to design and build scalable software solutions while focusing on clean code and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Designing small-to-medium systems
- Writing clean, testable code
- Conduct peer code reviews to help keep the codebase sane
- Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use
- Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain or maintain Public Trust (High) clearance
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
- Backend development in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go
- Experience with SQL-based data stores
- Strong focus on clean code, API design, performance optimization, and collaborative code reviews
- Understanding database normalization, load balancing, and basic microservices
- Ability to debug a failing CI/CD pipeline and manage environment variables safely
- Writing unit tests and End-to-End tests as standard practice
- Explaining technical trade-offs to product managers and mentoring junior developers
