Responsibilities

• Collaborating with project management, colleagues and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications
• Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems
• Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements
• Testing and deploying programs and applications
• Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
• Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance
• Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products
• Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects

Skills

• Must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#) and fundamental database/SQL understanding
• 0-2 years experience in related field
• Experienced working in teams
• Working toward one or more relevant professional designations
• Have strong soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, willingness to learn
• Able to work remotely, and at times independently
• Experienced with Git or other version control systems preferred
