Job description

Summary

Aegis AI Security is a cybersecurity company focused on defending organizations against adversarial AI attacks. The Security Administrator will manage vulnerability remediation, SIEM monitoring, identity and access, MDM, endpoint patching, software deployment, and IT support while automating operational tasks and helping secure the company’s environment.

Responsibilities

  • Vulnerability management: Run our remediation workflows - track findings, coordinate fixes with engineering, and keep us inside our SLAs
  • SIEM monitoring & tuning: Watch and triage alerts in our SIEM, and help tune detections to cut noise and catch what matters
  • Identity & access management: Harden our identity stack and run access reviews and provisioning across our SaaS estate
  • MDM administration: Manage our device fleet: enrollment, configuration profiles, and security policies
  • Endpoint patching & updates: Keep operating systems and applications current across the fleet, and track patch compliance
  • Software review & packaging: Review, package, and deploy software to endpoints
  • IT support: Answer help requests across the company: accounts, devices, access, and the occasional mystery
  • Automate: Automate the boring work so you can focus on what matters most

Skills

  • • 1–4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration
  • • Solid cloud and identity fundamentals: you understand SSO, MFA, and how cloud native companies manage access
  • • Demonstrated interest in security: certifications (e.g., Security+), coursework, homelab projects, CTFs, or security-adjacent work experience all count
  • • Comfortable picking up new tools and figuring things out independently, and honest about what you don't know yet
  • • Strong written communication: clear tickets, clean documentation, useful runbooks
  • • Experience with MDM
  • • Experience with vulnerability management and patch management tooling
  • • Experience with SIEM tuning, threat hunting, and log analysis tools
  • • Identity provider and SaaS administration experience
