Job description

Summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an ADC Engineer to join their AWS for Government, Storage Services team. This role involves troubleshooting complex system operations and building new features for cloud services to support U.S. Government agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Region and feature builds
  • Manage and monitoring systems health and status
  • Provisioning devices, assisting with data ingestion, and device cleaning
  • Troubleshooting device, network, and/or configuration related issues
  • Identifying, documenting, and communicating engineering and operations recommendations to team members
  • Writing and disseminating after action reports capturing key events, actions taken, and future mitigation plans
  • Providing on-call support

Skills

  • High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
  • 1+ years of Linux systems administration and/or development experience
  • 1+ years of technical support experience
  • 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Experience with distributed systems at scale
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
  • Experience with systems administration on either Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems

Qualifications
