Delivery Consultant - Data Architect, AWS Professional Services

Summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a global cloud platform provider whose Professional Services team helps customers achieve enterprise cloud adoption and business outcomes. The Delivery Consultant will lead customer-focused teams, architect and implement complex Data & Analytics solutions on AWS, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves gathering requirements, developing migration and modernization strategies, advising customers, managing risks, and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Leading project teams, designing and implementing end-to-end large-scale, complex, scalable, and secure Data Analytics AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective Data & Analytics migration and modernization strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and governance while aligning data solutions with business strategies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Skills

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
• 3+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
• 3+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
• 3+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
• Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
