Job description

Summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides cloud-based technology solutions and operates Amazon Connect, a disruptive cloud contact center service used by businesses worldwide. The Software Development Engineer II will design, develop, and deliver scalable, resilient systems for the next generation of Amazon Connect, working across modern web, service-oriented architecture, NoSQL databases, AI, machine learning, and big data technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own code end-to-end from design to development
  • Design and deliver scaleable, resilient systems while maintaining a constant customer focus
  • Developing the next generation contact center
  • Solving highly complex engineering and algorithmic problems

Skills

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Must Haves
