Summary

Arcadia is building a next-generation platform that connects skilled professionals with AI training opportunities. They are seeking both a Senior and Junior Front-End Software Engineer to focus on building React + Vite applications for a contributor marketplace and internal operations platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and implementation across React + Vite applications
  • Build complex UI systems including multi-step forms, admin interfaces, and interactive workflows
  • Implement accessible UI patterns and keyboard navigation aligned with WAI-ARIA standards
  • Own front-end build systems and environment configuration
  • Drive PR reviews with a focus on UX quality, accessibility, and rendering correctness
  • Shape component architecture and design systems as the platform scales
  • Mentor junior engineers and establish front-end best practices
  • Build React components and features across marketplace and operations tooling
  • Contribute to forms, admin tooling, and user-facing workflows
  • Implement accessible UI patterns with mentorship from senior engineers
  • Write tests and contribute to front-end reliability
  • Take ownership of individual features and workstreams over time

Skills

  • 4+ years of React experience
  • Strong understanding of React rendering behavior, hooks, refs, memoization, and state management
  • Experience building scalable design systems
  • Strong testing practices using Vitest or similar frameworks
  • Demonstrated product and design sensibility
  • Experience leading projects end-to-end
  • Strong accessibility and UX instincts
  • 1–2 years of React experience or strong academic/project background
  • Understanding of React fundamentals and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks
  • Strong interest in UX, product quality, and design systems
  • Eagerness to learn production-scale front-end engineering
  • Accessibility auditing tools (VoiceOver, axe-core)
  • Marketplace or recruiting platform experience
  • Framer or design-tool integrations
