Job description

Summary

Arrow Electronics provides products, services, and solutions involving electronic components and enterprise computing solutions. The Field Sales Representative will identify markets and customers, develop sales strategies and relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, prepare quarterly sales reports, and collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver tailored customer solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory
  • Plan sales strategies and develop key relationships with customers, peers and suppliers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare comprehensive reports per quarter with implementations on sales growth
  • Work alongside engineers and designers to provide tailored solutions to customers

Skills

  • Sales experience required
  • Knowledge of the assigned market/territory (e.g., customers, competition)
  • Ability to promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow
  • Ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market the full set of Arrow offerings incorporating in-depth knowledge of Arrow's key supplier lines
  • Proven ability to articulate complex strategies and able to execute on them
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation and improve customer service, and ability to lead regular QBRs with major customers that unlock additional sales opportunities
  • Innovative self-starters who are willing to challenge the status quo
  • This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)
  • This position will require you to be onsite in our Milwaukee office on Mondays and visiting customers/suppliers the rest of the week
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Understanding of the electronic components industry is preferred
  • Experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment preferred
  • Proficiency in sales tracking systems, SalesForce.com, Oracle preferred
