Summary
Ask IT Consulting Inc is a minority-owned enterprise providing technology, business consulting, and outsourcing services. They are seeking a Desktop GIS Specialist to manage geoprocessing, mapping, and data visualization tasks using desktop GIS.
Responsibilities
- Experience using a professional desktop GIS for geoprocessing, mapping and visualization, and workflow management
- Experience managing and maintaining spatial or non-spatial data using desktop GIS or other desktop data management tools
- Experience performing quality assurance on enterprise spatial or non-spatial data
- Experience conducting data related research using a combination of on-line and published materials
- Experience utilizing the route building tools in ArcMap to construct routes for use in a linear reference system in GIS
Skills
- Candidates should have at least 12 months experience
- Experience using a professional desktop GIS for geoprocessing, mapping and visualization, and workflow management
- Experience managing and maintaining spatial or non-spatial data using desktop GIS or other desktop data management tools
- Experience performing quality assurance on enterprise spatial or non-spatial data
