Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Intern position available in Oakland, California Walnut Creek, California or Davis California for 3 to 6 months with the potential to transition to full-time (40 hrs./wk.). The position requires the development and management of GIS data, geospatial databases, and standardized workflows to support projects and develop technical tools for a variety of technical environmental practices including: contaminated site investigation, groundwater remediation, subsurface remediation, water resources, and landfill projects. The candidate may also have other duties supporting remediation and engineering projects such as GPS operation in the field related to field investigations, technical report QA/QC and various data management duties.

This is an ideal position for a currently enrolled student who is looking for flexible limited-term work in a dynamic environmental consulting setting. This will be a 10-20-hour/week position; additional hours will be compensated accordingly.
