Summary
Avery Dennison is a global materials science and digital identification solutions company. The Associate Brand Manager serves as the interface between retail and apparel clients and sales and product development teams, managing client programs, product development, sales processes, reporting, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Understand client business models and goals to enable success, maintaining strong relationships, answering questions, and providing detailed information about services
- Initiate and coordinate the full product development process from client briefing to final approval, deployment, and order acceptance
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including inventory reports, client sales reports, and product development trackers using digital systems and processes (Oracle SalesCloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Eloqua, pricing, and product specification tooling)
- Prepare global price proposals, escalate price approvals in competitive bidding processes, and resolve order, quality, or deployment issues to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Work collaboratively across different teams to support sales growth, utilize social selling techniques to engage with potential clients and generate leads, and stay current on industry trends and product innovations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge gained through training and experience
- Interest in and excitement to learn the Apparel industry, products, and practices
- Excellent client service, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in technical and digital skills, including use of Google Suite, ERP (Oracle preferred), pricing tools, and product/client databases
- Strong data analytics skill set to drive decision-making, with comfort in quantitative analysis and storytelling using data
- Majors in business management or sales
