Job description
Summary
BAE Systems develops advanced aerospace and defense electronics, including navigation technologies and equipment for precision strike missions. The EMI/EMC Design and Test Engineer will coordinate EMI/EMC design and testing activities, oversee internal laboratory work, and support engineering teams with EMI/EMC best practices and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing internal lab activities, coordinating new and existing EMI/EMC design efforts, mentoring Hardware Engineering Teams in EMI/EMC best practices and provides coordination for all EMI/EMC testing efforts
Skills
- * Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
- * Experience with electronic test and troubleshooting
- * Experience with electronic test equipment
- * Experience with electrical circuit design and schematic capture
- * Experience with EMI/EMC tdest an troubleshooting
- * Experience with EMI/EMC test equipment and filtering
- * Understanding of MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704 test procedures and methods
- * Time management skills - ability to work unsupervised, multi-task, and coordinate work
