  • Foundational knowledge of databases, data modeling standards, data pipelines/ETL concepts, and cloud-native environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud/AWS)
  • Familiarity with basic object-oriented programming or scripting languages enabling you to build, automate, understand and analyze the underlying logic of complex software systems, AI models and/or datasets
  • A proven ability to bridge the gap between business and technical by translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, process flows, and conceptual architecture plans
  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML lifecycle principles, Generative AI concepts, and LLMs, with exposure to modern frameworks and prompt engineering
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting data insights using visualization tools or libraries to communicate findings and tell a clear story
  • Exposure to collaborative project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro) or Agile concepts
  • Strong aptitude for systems thinking, breaking down complex engineering challenges, and evaluating technical trade-offs while navigating ambiguity in dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and initiative through academic projects, student organizations, competitions, volunteer activities, or other extracurricular experiences
