Summary
Penguin Random House is a leading adult and children's publishing house committed to quality, innovation, and excellence throughout the publishing process. The intern will learn about publishing while supporting art and design work for adult and children's books, including cover and interior design, image and type research, and social media assets.
Responsibilities
- Some responsibilities may include creating covers and interior designs for each book, setting up hardcover and paperback mechanicals, Image research, type research, Illustrator research and creating social media assets
- The staff reviews the book and meets with the editor and marketing department to create a visual-packaging direction and oversee its implementation to both represent the book’s essence and attract the target audience
