Summary
Boldt is an employee-owned construction company delivering projects across healthcare, industrial, power and energy, commercial, education, and mission-critical markets. The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, budgeting, quality control, and jobsite documentation, while developing technical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- As a Project Engineer at Boldt, you'll play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across a variety of markets, including healthcare, industrial, power and energy, commercial, education, and mission-critical facilities
- Working alongside project managers, superintendents, trade partners, and clients, you'll help manage project schedules, subcontractor coordination, procurement, budgeting, quality control, and jobsite documentation
- Project Engineers gain hands-on experience throughout the construction lifecycle while building strong relationships and developing the technical and leadership skills needed to drive successful project outcomes
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel to project sites

- 1-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer from a general contractor
- Ability to support RFIs, submittals, and procurement tracking
- Willingness to engage daily with Superintendents and field teams
- Experience in tracking productivity, percent complete, and schedule updates
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-energy jobsite environment
- Desire to grow a long-term career in construction management
- Bluebeam or similar document control tools
- Scheduling experience or interest in look-ahead planning
- Experience supporting multiple subcontractors or scopes
