Job description

Summary

Blu Omega is a technology and cybersecurity solutions provider supporting federal agencies and enterprise clients. The Health Data Analytics Consultant will perform Medicare claims analysis, develop and document SQL and Python analyses, and support healthcare payment model and policy initiatives for the CMS program area.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Medicare claims analysis to support payment model development and evaluation
  • Develop and verify analysis parameters, prepare detailed documentation, and write efficient, high-quality code using SQL and Python
  • Collaborate with team members to interpret data findings and support the design of healthcare payment models

Skills

  • Public Trust eligibility required
  • 4+ years of experience in health analytics, research, consulting, or a similar environment
  • Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, or a related field
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python for data analysis
  • Experience working with healthcare claims and enrollment data within large data warehouse environments
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data structures, patient attribution concepts, and claims data
  • Ability to develop analysis parameters, document processes, and produce high-quality code
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex analyses clearly
