Job description
Summary
Blue & Co., LLC is a dynamic CPA and advisory firm providing accounting and consulting services across multiple industries. The Audit Associate will support audit engagements by monitoring budgets and status, researching technical issues, assessing risks and controls, preparing financial statements and reports, and fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Monitor engagement status and budget requirements for profitable and timely completion
- Research technical issues that arise during an engagement
- Provide risk assessments and recommend controls; Analyze controls environment for non-compliance, fraud, and other risk factors
- Prepare financial statements, management letters, and detailed reports on audit findings
- Develop and foster teamwork, innovative thinking, and knowledge sharing
Skills
- 1-2 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; demonstrate a high level of technical competence
- Strong mentorship, leadership and training skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products / applications
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship
- CPA or working toward preferred
