Job description
Summary
Blue Rose Consulting Group is a mission-driven federal contractor delivering innovative solutions for federal clients and the communities they serve. The company is seeking a Junior Java Developer to build and support web, backend, REST API, credentialing, and case management solutions in an Agile, continuous integration environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise applications using Java
- Build web and backend applications and services
- Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs
- Support credentialing and case management system capabilities
- Develop front-end functionality using technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
- Participate in Agile software development activities
- Work within a continuous integration environment
- Use Java development tools including Eclipse, JUnit, and Git
- Collaborate with developers building customer engagement solutions for federal service agencies
Skills
- US Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- 2+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications
- At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java
- At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment
- At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git
- Active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Located in Colorado or the DMV area
- Experience supporting a large-scale federal IT program
- Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework
