Job description

Summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Automation Engineer to support data integrity and reliability within its systems. The role develops automated validation and reconciliation processes, investigates data discrepancies, validates fixes, and communicates data quality findings within an Agile technical team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated validation and data reconciliation scripts
  • Investigate, analyze, and meticulously document data discrepancies and anomalies
  • Verify that system records are created, updated, and maintained correctly across environments
  • Retest data fixes and validate resolutions implemented by the development team
  • Communicate findings, data health metrics, and quality reports clearly and effectively to a collaborative, cross-functional technical team
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Skills

  • Experience programming with Python including data manipulation, validation, and automation
  • Experience with SQL or relational database management
  • Experience with APIs and handling structured data formats such as JSON, XML, or CSV
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts
  • Ability to adapt and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, Agile environment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Experience with Python data analysis and manipulation libraries such as pandas or NumPy
  • Experience using modern AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency, while applying sound judgment to ensure responsible and effective use
  • Experience with cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or compliance
  • Experience using issue-tracking and Agile management platforms such as Jira or GitLab
  • Knowledge of C# and .NET frameworks
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate
  • Bachelor's degree
