Summary

Bosch Charleston is a part of a global network with close to 400,000 associates who make products that are 'Invented for Life'. The role involves supporting global product engineering and testing within an established engineering department, focusing on automotive fuel systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support global product engineering and testing for Bosch Powertrain Solutions
  • Work within an established engineering department specializing in product functional testing
  • NA customer support
  • Problem solving
  • Engineering root cause analysis of automotive fuel systems for on-road and off-road applications
  • Report to the department Engineering Manager
  • Project work directed by an experienced principal engineer

Skills

  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (or international equivalent) with concentration in programs such as materials, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or other related scientific discipline
  • Self-driven and motivated in taking a task and following to completion
  • Confident contributor and communicator in a team-oriented environment
  • Enjoys challenges both inside and outside chosen engineering discipline
  • 2nd year student or higher preferred
  • Basic design, materials and testing coursework a plus
  • Bosch fuel injector equipment (FIE) testing and/or product knowledge a plus
  • Experience with data analysis and technical writing (reports, presentations)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Python, and Power BI all beneficial
