Job description

Summary

Bosch is a company that shapes the future by inventing high-quality technologies and services. As an Engineering Support Intern, you will support engineering teams with data acquisition vehicle setups and gain practical experience in automotive instrumentation and testing lab operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced proficiencies in component termination and assembly. You will build custom cables and specialized wiring harnesses, including:
  • Conduct functional testing and perform simple repairs on data acquisition boxes, as well as testing procedures for pressure sensors and transducers
  • Learn how to pull and configure engineering equipment in the lab to support custom vehicle builds
  • Work with engineering on troubleshooting and test development

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related technical field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • A foundational understanding of the CAN bus protocol and data frames
  • A general, entry-level understanding of wire terminations, soldering, and crimping techniques
  • A basic grasp of data acquisition (DAQ) concepts and equipment

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related technical field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
