Summary
Buckstop is building an intelligence platform for the circular economy that helps enterprises identify, track, and maximize the residual value of electronic assets. As the first Product Manager, you will establish the product function, build customer feedback loops and analytics systems, define roadmaps, and create product operations and UI/UX foundations for enterprise tools.
Responsibilities
- Act as the voice of the user by establishing close feedback loops with enterprise customers, key stakeholders, and early adopters
- Translate customer pain points, market opportunities, and complex operational requirements into clear product vision and feature roadmaps
- Drive product adoption, track user journeys, and identify friction points across the platform
- Build and oversee our product analytics stack, synthesizing data from platforms like Mixpanel and Google Analytics to extract actionable behavioral insights
- Define and measure core product metrics, funnels, and feature usage to inform roadmap prioritization
- Work closely with the engineering team to establish tracking taxonomies and evaluate feature performance post-launch
- Establish, build, and optimize core product management workflows and systems (e.g., in Asana) from scratch
- Standardize product documentation, sprint planning, roadmap visibility, and release processes across the organization
- Instill a high-velocity, highly structured product culture within the team
- Bring strong UI/UX instincts to product definition, shaping intuitive user workflows and clean UI patterns for complex enterprise tools
- Partner tightly across Buckstop to translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and enterprise-grade user experiences
- Use AI to rapidly generate and prototype product ideas
- Ensure feature releases balance operational complexity with a frictionless user journey
Skills
- Three years of PM experience, shipping B2B or enterprise SaaS products, ideally in a startup or 0 to 1 environment
- Hands on experience standing up product analytics from scratch (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics), including defining event taxonomies, not just reading dashboards someone else built
- Direct experience building product operations infrastructure at a company that didn't already have it
- Comfort operating with significant ambiguity: this is a startup; process here is something you build, not something you inherit
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate between enterprise customers, engineers, and leadership without losing precision in either direction
- Experience in the energy, insurance, appraisal, or finance industry
- Strong UI/UX instincts, evidenced by a portfolio or work samples of wireframes, prototypes, or shipped interfaces for complex or enterprise tools
- Fluency with AI tools for rapid prototyping (e.g., generating mockups or product specs with AI rather than waiting on a design queue)
