Summary
ByteDance is a technology company founded in 2012, with a mission to inspire creativity and enrich life. They are seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to join their Real Estate & Facilities team, where the intern will support the lifecycle of office development projects and collaborate with various internal departments and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Management team in design analysis and technical review processes to ensure project requirements align with company standards
- Assist in tracking project schedules and monitoring budgets to ensure timely delivery and financial accountability
- Coordinate the end-to-end payment process, including reviewing invoices, tracking change orders, and reconciling costs with internal finance systems
- Act as a liaison between REF and various internal stakeholders (CS, IT, Security, Procurement, Legal, Finance etc.) and external partners (Architects, General Contractors) to drive project alignment and resolve potential bottlenecks
- Maintain project dashboards and logs to provide real-time updates on project status, risks, and contingencies
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Project management, construction management, architecture, business, real estate or a related field
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to navigate a complex, fast-paced environment
- Good time management, ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
- Motivated to learn new tools and systems
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and a growth-oriented mindset
- Prior internship or academic project experience in design, construction, or corporate real estate
- Familiarity with project management tools or software
- Exposure to construction industry terms and processes through coursework or internships
