Business Analyst

Summary

CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization. The Business Analyst serves as a critical link between engineering teams and business units, supporting the design, development, documentation, training, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The role focuses on translating roadmap features and business requirements, creating analytics, collaborating with Product Managers, and improving systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of an agile team(s) and follow the Scrum framework
• Work side by side with engineering as well as multiple business units
• Assist in translating roadmap features to epics and stories
• Assist in developing and documenting business requirements
• Create reports, dashboards, and metrics to showcase outcomes
• Work closely with Product Managers on planning, refinement, and prioritization
• Test and document systems, software, and services
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and performance with our systems, software, services, and ways of working

Skills

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills – including the ability to summarize and present complex information to all levels of the business
• A driving curiosity to understand why and how things work (or don't)
• An analytical mind set and strong problem-solving skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Experience and competence in the analysis and comprehension of data
• 2 years of experience working with Salesforce
• Readiness to grow and develop yourself, our client group, and our Company
• Ability to embrace CIEE's Core Values (Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and Problem Solving) and culture
• International Education/Exchange experience preferred
