Summary
Cimarron Inc. is a global solutions company specializing in customer-driven requirements, and they are seeking Software Developers to support commercial space operations. The role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications while collaborating with various teams to ensure software quality and integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and document software applications in support of commercial space systems and mission operations
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Collaborate with systems engineers, mission operations teams, and program stakeholders to define and refine software requirements
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to software quality improvement initiatives
- Support software integration and verification activities throughout the development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across development, test, and production environments

- 1 or more years of general, full-time work experience
- 1 or more years of directly related software development experience in a NASA, NASA contractor, or equivalent commercial space environment
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience supporting software development within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience supporting NASA or commercial space programs
- Familiarity with space systems software, mission operations, or ground systems development
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Active or recently expired Public Trust or higher government security clearance
