Summary

The Risk Analyst role plans, deploys, operates, and improves event security technology while establishing standards, integrating platforms, managing vendors, and improving situational awareness and risk management for corporate events.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and deployment of security technology for major corporate events, conferences, executive events, and customer-facing programs
- Develop repeatable technology standards for event security, including cameras, video analytics, facial recognition, access control, registration, badging, communications, and security operations centers
- Partner with event teams to assess security requirements and develop technology plans based on event size, location, risk, and operational needs
- Support the design and operation of temporary and permanent Security Operations Centers (SOCs) for major events
- Integrate security technologies and platforms to provide a unified operational view and improve situational awareness
- Evaluate emerging technologies including AI/video analytics, facial recognition, weapons detection, drones, robotics, wireless/RF monitoring, and other security innovations
- Coordinate technology pilots, proof-of-concepts, testing, deployment, and post-event assessments
- Work with Cisco technology teams and strategic partners to find opportunities to demonstrate Cisco capabilities through event security deployments
- Establish deployment standards, technical requirements, documentation, and operational procedures
- Manage technology vendors, integrators, equipment, logistics, and deployment schedules
- Support budgeting, procurement, project scope, and vendor performance for event technology programs
- Develop metrics and reporting to measure technology efficiency, operational performance, and return on investment
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost through standardization, reusable technology, and repeatable deployment models
- Conduct post-event reviews and translate lessons learned into improved standards and future deployments

- 80 hours of sick time off provided on the hire date and each January 1st thereafter
- Up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
- Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
- Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
- For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies
