Summary
WebstaurantStore, a division of Clark Associates and an online distributor of restaurant supplies and equipment, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst Summer Intern. The intern will gather and analyze business requirements, collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and contribute to projects across the full lifecycle in an Agile enterprise e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software developers on real-world projects in an enterprise e-commerce environment
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for system improvements and new features
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Work within Agile development teams, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support scalable, long-term system enhancements
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote or hybrid work environment
Skills
- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks
- Access to a home router and modem
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible)
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc
- Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, and WY)

- Are you eager to gain hands-on experience managing projects and driving business initiatives? We are seeking rising undergraduate juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students pursuing degrees in Business, Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field to join our Business Analyst internship/co-op program
- A foundational understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- An interest in gathering requirements, coordinating projects, and improving business processes
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
- A desire to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, remote environment during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours
- This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else
- Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs
- Previous internship, co-op, leadership, or project experience is a plus
