Job description

Summary

Climate First Bank is a Florida Benefit Corporation and FDIC-insured commercial bank focused on sustainability, transparency, and ethical banking. The Core Systems Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide workflows on the Jack Henry Silverlake Core System, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of automated workflows across departments using tools such as JHA Enterprise Workflow
  • Collaborate with business units to map current processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable automation solutions
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on workflow best practices and governance
  • Develop documentation and training materials for all automated processes including flow diagrams, SOPs, and risk assessments
  • Partner with the Core Banking Systems Administrator on managing core changes
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for workflow automation within the Jack Henry & Associates ecosystem
  • Work closely with IT, Operations, Compliance, and other departments to ensure workflows meet regulatory and business requirements
  • Adopt a commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice
  • Stay informed of applicable regulatory requirements and complete all mandatory compliance and IT training
  • Pursue and demonstrate an understanding of established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Question suspicious activity and collaborate closely with the respective department(s) to help prevent fraudulent activity

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or 3+ years of experience in workflow automation, business process improvement, or systems analysis
  • Proven experience with workflow automation platforms
  • Experience with core banking systems (preferably Jack Henry Silverlake) preferred
  • Experience with Finastra's Decision Pro preferred

  • You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who solves problems efficiently, seeks operational efficiencies and has the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

  • You possess a strong understanding of banking operations, compliance standards, and customer service workflows
  • You learn new tools quickly, are excited by innovation and leverage technology to optimize your work product
  • Additionally, you are no stranger to Excel, databases, and form-building tools
  • You lift others up, share ideas, and bring positive energy to everything you do
  • You know how to operate as a part of a larger team and love contributing to the big picture

  • Remote role within the United States; Eastern Standard Hours
  • Occasional U.S. travel for company events

  • Sustained standing and sitting, frequent communication (speaking and listening) and use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
