Summary
College Flight Path helps students and families navigate the journey from high school to college and career through resources, tools, and personalized guidance. The Marketing Intern will support content creation, design, social media, email marketing, website maintenance, and a capstone project while working with the Business Development team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with content development — writing and editing copy for social media, email, and the website
- Edit and produce short-form video content for social media and marketing campaigns
- Design graphics and visual assets in Canva for social posts, email, and web use
- Support day-to-day social media management, including scheduling, posting, and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting, formatting, and scheduling sends
- Support website updates and maintenance in Squarespace
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program events
- Complete a final capstone project — scoped to your experience and interests — presented to the team at the end of the program
Skills
- Must have a permanent home address in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Texas — this is a firm eligibility requirement; candidates residing elsewhere cannot be considered
- Currently enrolled as a college sophomore or junior (or equivalent marketing/content experience)
- Strong interest in content creation, digital marketing, or design; a portfolio or samples of past work are welcome
- Available 5–10 hours per week during the semester, with the option to work up to 20 hours per week in summer
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eager to learn, proactive, organized, and reliable
- Comfortable working with students, families, or school partners
- Familiarity with (or strong interest in learning) Canva and basic video editing software
- Comfortable creating content for and engaging on TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Exposure to (or willingness to learn) Google Workspace, HubSpot, Monday.com, and Squarespace
- Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude and Perplexity to support research and content creation
- Preferred majors: marketing, communications, journalism, design, education, or English — or relevant marketing experience
