Summary
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection supports programs that help small businesses meet environmental goals across Pennsylvania. The Program Analyst 2 supports the Small Business Ombudsman Office by analyzing program data, reviewing materials, assisting with grant and loan activities, developing outreach materials, and preparing financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Grant Support: Review Small Business Advantage Grant (SBAG) applications, track awards and payments, and assist applicants with program questions
- Loan Assistance: Provide guidance on Pollution Prevention Assistance Account Loan requirements and review related reports
- Program Tracking: Maintain documentation for grant and loan programs and report issues to the Ombudsman
- Outreach Materials: Help develop and update publications, videos, handouts, and annual reports for the Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP)
- Financial Analysis: Conduct SAP data reviews to prepare financial reports and identify actions needed to support program fund management
Skills
- One year as a Program Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
- You must meet the PA residency requirement
- You must be able to perform essential job functions
