Summary
Concord is an execution company that helps organizations implement technology, artificial intelligence, and data initiatives. The Data Scientist will work as a client-facing consultant to design data solutions, support descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics, communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and manage projects with competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures
- Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering
- Collaborate with cloud architects to design cost-effective, high-performance data solutions
- Understanding of marketing analytics — preferably CRM or channel analytics
Skills
- * 3+ years in the Data & Analytics space, preferably with consulting experience. Experience with project management is a strong plus
- * Solid ability to translate between business needs and advanced analytic techniques. Our clients may be from Marketing, IT, or Analytics
- * Strong understanding of SQL & Python
- * Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and enjoys talking shop with others. Comfortable with both technically oriented and business-oriented audiences
- * Ability to problem-solve in a dynamic, changing environment. Ability to gather requirements and generate Data Science & Engineering tickets as needed
- * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities while delivering quality outcomes
- * Track record of proactive, value-added contributions to internal and client teams
- * Collaborating with high-performing cross-functional teams
- * A love for data, and sound belief in its possibilities
- * SQL (strong enough to design solutions, collaborate with data architects and engineers, identify and communicate concerns about solutions not adequately addressing the marketing use case)
