Summary
Concord is an execution company that helps organizations turn technology and AI initiatives into measurable capabilities through implementation and adoption. The Decision Scientist will work as a client-facing consultant supporting descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics, while designing technical solutions, communicating insights, mentoring team members, and managing projects. The role focuses on marketing analytics, data engineering, personalization, digital measurement, and translating business needs into data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures
- Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering
- Collaborate with cloud architects to design cost-effective, high-performance data solutions
- Understanding of marketing analytics — preferably CRM or channel analytics
Skills
- 3+ years in the Data & Analytics space, preferably with consulting experience
- Experience with project management is a strong plus
- Solid ability to translate between business needs and advanced analytic techniques. Our clients may be from Marketing, IT, or Analytics
- Strong understanding of SQL & Python
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and enjoys talking shop with others. Comfortable with both technically oriented and business-oriented audiences
- Ability to problem-solve in a dynamic, changing environment. Ability to gather requirements and generate Data Science & Engineering tickets as needed
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities while delivering quality outcomes
- Track record of proactive, value-added contributions to internal and client teams
- Collaborating with high-performing cross-functional teams
- A love for data, and sound belief in its possibilities
- SQL (strong enough to design solutions, collaborate with data architects and engineers, identify and communicate concerns about solutions not adequately addressing the marketing use case)
