Title: Graphic Design Intern Working Group: CommunicationsDivision: Marketing & Communications Reports to: Lead DesignerGeneral Track DescriptionThe Graphic Design Intern will work closely with Marketing and Communications, as well ascollaborate with other teams around the organization as needed. The Graphic Design Internshould have an interest in the faith-based ministry of Convoy of Hope and will be invited toattend chapel services and prayer.Desired Learning Outcomes1. Students will develop skills in graphic design and project management.2. Students will understand strategies associated with brand development.3. Students will recognize the ethics of editing and storytelling.4. Students will generate a design portfolio for future advancement.Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. Assists the Lead Designer with ongoing projects2. Organizes project files and deliverables3. Works with project management software4. Tracks and reviews deliverables related to assigned projects and tasks5. Completes other tasks or projects that may be beneficial to the internship experienceand of assistance to the Marketing and Communications teamKnowledge, Skills & Abilities1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills2. Ability to remain flexible while working with multiple projects3. Willingness to share and implement creative ideas4. Strong attention to detail5. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Adobe software6. Ability to receive feedback and constructive criticism7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills8. Managing real-time field content for “best of” deliverablesThis is a non-paid internship position. The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with theMarketing and Communications team and gain valuable experience.
