Summary

Crossway is a not-for-profit publisher of Christian books and gospel literature. The Software Developer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, collaborating with the IT team to write, test, and debug code while supporting end users with technical needs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software applications in collaboration with the IT team
• Write, test, and debug code

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Perl
• Experience in front-end or back-end development for UNIX or LINUX environments
• Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and retrieval
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Knowledge of database management and security practices
