Summary
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This role focuses on resolving technical issues, supporting system enhancements, and improving operational processes through collaboration and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support day to day operations of enterprise business applications by investigating issues, resolving user concerns, and ensuring reliable system performance
- Coordinate the intake, prioritization, and tracking of support requests while providing clear communication and status updates to stakeholders
- Maintain application administration functions, including user access, security settings, configuration updates, and system maintenance activities
- Analyze business needs, document enhancement opportunities, and collaborate with internal partners to improve workflows and application effectiveness
- Facilitate testing efforts for system updates, integrations, and enhancements while maintaining training resources, procedural documentation, and support materials
Skills
- Experience providing application support within a structured service environment, preferably supporting finance, human resources, or other enterprise level systems
- Knowledge of incident management tools, reporting platforms, and processes related to software releases, system enhancements, and ongoing support activities
- Familiarity with software development life cycle practices and Agile project methodologies
- Ability to review technical components such as APIs, integrations, and application logic to assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Additional preference for candidates with integration experience or exposure to the insurance industry
